Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) has decided to set up a state of art Academic and Residential Campus at Hyderabad, Telangana.
The TIFR Hyderabad campus of 194.20 acres would be adjacent to the University of Hyderabad (UoH) Campus and surrounded by other institutions is spread over three pieces of land separated by city roads. It is in close proximity to the Outer Ring Road by an eight-lane access controlled highway.
The campus will be developed in stages. In the first stage a strength of 75 faculty is projected, along with 300 research students comprising PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and other students (JRF).
