On Tuesday, April 11th, Hyderabad-based paint manufacturer Techno Paints announced its plans to establish three new plants in Visakhapatnam and Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, and Katni in Madhya Pradesh, for the production of cement putty, textures, primers, and emulsions.
In the first phase, each plant will have an annual capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes, with a total investment of INR 46 crore. Techno Paints currently operates three plants in Telangana and one in Andhra Pradesh, with a combined annual capacity of 2.50 lakh metric tonnes.
As part of its strategy to become a major player in India’s painting sector, Techno Paints is also expanding its retail network nationwide.
