Work on the South Coast Railway Zone in Visakhapatnam is set to begin soon. East Coast Railway (ECoR) has issued e-tenders for constructing the General Manager’s office complex and related facilities.
The office complex will feature 12 levels, including two basement floors, a ground floor, and nine upper floors. This modern structure will cost approximately 149.16 INR-Crore. Additionally, the pre-bid conference will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 2, and bidding will start on Friday, December 13. The closing date for the tenders is Friday, December 27.

Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh Government has allotted around 53 Acres of land for the for the construction of the south coast railway zone’s office. This ambitious project aims to strengthen rail infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.
