Aurobindo Pharma’s subsidiary, TheraNym Biologics Pvt Ltd, on Friday, May 31, announced setting up a biological manufacturing plant in Telangana. The company has signed a master service agreement with Merck Sharpe & Dohme Singapore (MSD) for the same.
As part of this collaboration, TheraNym will invest an estimated INR 1,000 Crore in establishing a biologics manufacturing facility in Telangana. This agreement will enable TheraNym to manufacture biological products for both domestic as well as international markets.

The proposed facility will feature large-scale bioreactors for mammalian cell culture products and a vial-filling isolator line capable of producing up to 25-30 million vials per year. TheraNym’s commitment to building this state-of-the-art facility underscores its dedication to advancing biopharmaceutical production and meeting global healthcare needs.
