The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which officially oversees the Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, has made the decision to build two pilgrim amenities centers (PAC) valued at INR 600 Crore in Tirupati town.
The new centers, Achyutham and Sripatham, with the capacity to house nearly 20,000 pilgrims, will serve as replacements for the existing facilities located behind the Tirupati railway station, which are over seven decades old.

Furthermore, under the leadership of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, the board has made several resolutions:
- The construction of another Srivari temple in Bandra (Mumbai) at a cost of INR 1.65 Crore, along with an information center costing INR 5 Crore. These projects will be financed through donations from TTD Trust board members.
- Approval has been granted for the construction of a temple dedicated to the folk Goddess Moolasthana Ellamma in Chandragiri, with a budget of INR 2 Crore.
- An allocation of INR 49 Crore has been sanctioned for the repair and maintenance of TTD employees’ quarters.
- TTD has earmarked INR 33 Crore for the development of roads and other amenities in the housing sites designated for temple body employees at Padiredu Aranyam village.
Among various other decisions made during the meeting, the board has requested the state government’s authorization to fill 413 vacancies for priests and other positions.
