Udayshivakumar Infra wins 1,057 INR-Crore National Highway projects in Karnataka via Joint Ventures

On Thursday, September 5, Udayshivakumar Infra Ltd (UIL) emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for three significant National Highway projects in Karnataka. The estimated value of these projects is 1,057.3 INR-Crore

Udayshivakumar Infra has entered into 3 joint ventures with KMC Construction Ltd (KMCCL) to bid on these National Highways projects. These are awarded under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode. The scope of work involves extensive road widening and shoulder paving.

The largest of the three is a 366.19 INR-Crore endeavor to widen a 36.5 Km stretch on NH-69 from Honnavar to Chittoor. Meanwhile, the second project is valued at an estimated 299.19 INR-Crore. It involves widening two lanes on NH-150A over 48 Km, from KB Cross to Nelligere.

The third project, worth an estimated 391.92 INR-Crore, involves widening a 60.2 Km stretch of NH-548B from Murgundi to Chikkodi.

Moreover, each project has an estimated completion timeline of 24 months. Udayshivakumar Infra and KMC Construction are now awaiting Letters of Acceptance (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to commence work.
