On Thursday, September 19, auto components maker, Uno Minda Ltd greenlit several key expansion projects in Haryana and Karnataka. These entail an estimated investment of 403 INR-Crore.
Toyoda Gosei South India Pvt Ltd (TGSIN) is set to establish a new plant in Harohalli, Karnataka. This facility will produce airbags, steering wheels, and console boxes. The estimated investment of this project is 283 INR-Crore. It is set to begin operations in Q1 FY 2026-27.

Additionally, the company has sanctioned the relocation of Uno Mindarika Pvt Ltd’s manufacturing plant from Manesar to Farrukh Nagar, Haryana. This expansion, with an estimated 120 INR-Crore investment, is expected to be operational by Q3 FY 2026-27. These expansions aim to address future demand while streamlining operational efficiencies within the subsidiaries of Uno Minda.
