Upcoming PWD ITO Office Buildings at Delhi

Delhi government is planning to build two multi-storey and eco-friendly buildings near ITO to accommodate offices of the chief minister and cabinet ministers along with bureaucrats of different departments. This project will also include amenities like a landscape/garden for recreation and a rainwater harvesting plant and a sewage treatment plant to take care of the sustainability of the project.

Project Specifications:

The project is being helmed by the Delhi government’s Public Works Department (PWD). The project is under construction and will span over a land parcel of 12.35 acres with a construction area of 3,375,325 sq. ft. This project will serve as the new secretariat for the Delhi government. The project entails the construction of buildings at three plots near ITO. These eco-friendly buildings will be built after demolishing the existing Vikas Bhavan, MSO building and GST building. The project will comprise 2 blocks with a ground floor, a basement and 35 upper floors.
