Upcoming PWD Shri GTB State University of Law at Kairon

Public Works Department (PWD have proposed PWD Shri GTB State University of Law at Kairon.The proposed project includes the construction of Shri Teg Bahadur State University of Law at Kairon village in Tarn Taran district, Punjab. This project will provide high-end education and residential facilities.

This upcoming project is currently under construction. The project will comprise 2 academic blocks with a ground floor and 5 upper floors, an Auditorium with a seating capacity of 740 people, a Library lecture theatre with a seating capacity of 296 people, a moot court with a ground floor and  4 upper floors. The project will also comprise residential facilities for Class III Employee houses. This block will have 4 units with a stilt floor and 7 upper floors, 2 other blocks of Grade III Employee houses will include a ground floor and 4 upper floors. Grade IV Employee houses will include 2 blocks with a ground floor and 4 upper floors. Girl’s and boy’s hostels each will have a capacity of 840 people and will include a ground floor and 7 upper floors. The project will also have 7 servant quarters.

The project will also have residential facilities for the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and other Associate professors. The Vice Chancellor’s residence and Registrar’s residence, each will span over a land parcel of 4400 sq.ft. 5 Professor’s Residences will spread over 4100 sq.ft of land. The Associate professors’ residence will have a stilt floor and 8 upper floors. The guesthouses will have a stilt floor and 4 upper floors, whereas the assistant professor’s residence will have a ground floor and 7 upper floors.
