Uttar Pradesh Initiates Development Of AI City In Lucknow

The Uttar Pradesh Government, under the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath, has initiated the process for the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) city in Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Ltd (UPECL) has formulated a comprehensive project plan for this venture at an estimated initial capital of INR 100 Crore.

The State IT and Electronics department has identified key land parcels over nearly 40 acres in Nadarganj, Lucknow, for the AI city. UPECL has invited EOIs (Expression of Interest) for applications from the leading developers for the design, development, and operation of the project.

The proposed project envisages the construction of Grade-A certified commercial spaces for IT companies, Grade-A flexible workspaces, state-of-the-art data centers, and tech labs, along with luxury and affordable residential complexes, recreation areas, and several world-class amenities.

Through this venture, the UP government aims to transform the area into an IT, innovation technology, and electronic manufacturing hub.
