The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) announced that the state government is setting up a Pharma Park in Lalitpur, Bundelkhand, occupying an anticipated 1,472 Acres of land across five villages. The authority has a comprehensive plan to conduct a land survey and has floated an e-tender for the selection of a survey agency under the fixed bids process.
As per the e-tender, the selected agency will complete soil testing, contour mapping, and topographical investigation. The villages identified for the survey include Rampur (441 Acres), Saidpur (426 Acres), Gadolikala (249 Acres), Largan (239 Acres), and Karounda (116 Acres).

The proposed project will be developed in two phases with the initial focus on immediate development efforts covering 300 Acres of land parcel. The overall project is expected to see an investment of approximately INR 8,000 Crore by the state. It is poised to become a key contributor to the pharmaceutical sector as well as foster the industrial growth and economic development of Uttar Pradesh.
