Verka milk plant in Mohali gets 325 INR-Crore upgrade

The Verka Milk Plant in Mohali’s Phase-6 is gearing up for a major transformation. With an estimated investment of 325 INR-Crore, Verka plans to double its capacity from 6.5 lakh liters to an impressive 13.70 lakh liters per day within the next two years. 

Additionally, the company will introduce a state-of-the-art chiplets packing unit for butter in 10g and 100g sizes. This move aligns with the rising consumer demand for convenience. Moreover, the Verka Milk Plant will prioritize increasing processing capacities for products like lassi, curd, clarified butter, and butter.

To ensure precision and efficiency, all new units will feature fully automated systems. Verka’s broader modernization efforts also include upgrading existing outlets and integrating advanced technology to enhance productivity.
