Voco Srinagar: IHG’s first Hotel in Kashmir to open in 2026

IHG Hotels & Resorts is bringing a touch of upscale hospitality to Kashmir with Voco Srinagar, its first hotel in the region. The company signed a management agreement with Geelan Residency for this upcoming project. Scheduled to open in October 2026, this marks the sixth voco hotel being developed in India, following the opening of the first voco in Jim Corbett.

Voco Srinagar will boast 95 elegant rooms, offering domestic and international leisure travelers a comfortable haven. Guests can unwind by the pool, work out in the fitness center, or savor delicious meals at the all-day dining restaurant. The hotel will also meet the demands for social gatherings and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).

Nestled in the city’s upmarket commercial area, voco Srinagar will be easily accessible by road from the airport, major tourist attractions, and key residential areas. Additionally, the new-build hotel will be within a 2-hour drive from Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonmarg, making it an ideal choice for leisure travelers.
