Waaree Renewable Technologies, an arm of Waaree Energies, secured the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a massive 412.5 MWp (335 MW AC) solar project in Rajasthan. Spanish developer Acciona Energy spearheads this project through its subsidiary Juna Renewable Energy.
The upcoming solar project is located in Kawani Village, Bikaner district. Additionally, the scope of work encompasses installing a 33/220 KV plant substation, power transformers, and a mix of automatic and semi-automatic module cleaning robots and spares.

Notably, Waaree Renewable Technologies will use bifacial solar modules from Waaree Energies. Moreover, these modules will be installed on horizontal single-axis trackers. This setup aims to enhance energy yield through superior light absorption and tracking capabilities.
