Jakson Green Pvt, the renewable energy arm of Jakson Group, has partnered with NTPC Ltd to create the world’s first and largest 4G ethanol project. This project will be for NTPC’s Lara Thermal Plant in Chhattisgarh. The upcoming project will cost between INR 260 Crore and INR 300 Crore.
NTPC Netra will develop the project, while Jakson Green will be the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner. Jakson will design, build, and operate a carbon capture plant. The plant will produce 10 MT (Metric Tonnes) of 4G ethanol daily.

Moreover, the plant will capture 25 tonnes of carbon dioxide and generate 3 tonnes of hydrogen from a 7.5 MW electrolyzer. This 4G ethanol project will thus significantly contribute to sustainable energy and environmental conservation.
