26.3-acre land identified for International Cricket Stadium in Mysuru

Pratap Simha, the Mysuru MP, announced that the vision for the International Cricket Stadium in Mysuru will soon become a reality, as the Mysuru District Administration has identified 26.3 acres of land parcel near Huyilalu village. The regional commissioner has submitted a proposal to the state government to allocate the required land.

The proposed project will be financially supported by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). The land identified by the District Administration is available under two separate survey numbers. Out of the total 26.3 acres, 19 acres of land is available under survey number 312 and 7.3 acres under survey number 313 in Huyilalu Village of Yelwal Hobli, Mysuru.

The construction of the proposed stadium is expected to boost trade and commerce, and also propel tourism and economic growth in the city.
