HPCL plans to set up its third LPG cavern in Gujarat

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), a government-owned company in India, intends to construct its third underground storage facility for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Vadodara, Gujarat. 

The proposed facility will have the capacity to store 60,000 tonnes of LPG and is estimated to cost up to INR 1000 crore

Currently, HPCL operates one LPG cavern in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and has another under construction in Mangalore, Karnataka.
