India’s biggest hotel space to come up at Aerocity Delhi by 2025

Delhi will have the biggest hotel space in India at Aerocity in three years. In November 2021, the American hospitality major – Marriott International signed the agreement with DB Reality and Prestige Group

Under this agreement, the Group will deliver two hotels by the end of December 2025. The project will add 779 rooms to the Marriott International portfolio over completion. Hotel Marriott Marquis and St. Regis Aerocity will be located close to the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).

Hotel Marriott Marquis will cater to the modern traveler segment. It will have 590 rooms, along with three dining rooms and a ‘Greatroom’ Lobby. The Greatroom lobby will be a social gathering hub at the hotel. Meanwhile, St. Regis Aerocity will have 189 luxury rooms and suites. It will feature ‘New York Delhi’ – a tribute to Marriott International flagship hotel – St. Regis New York, located at 55th and 5th Avenue. 

Additionally, a convention center with 1000 rooms across approximately 7.7 Acres of land parcel is being developed by DB Hospitality (a brand under DB Realty). This will be India’s first Marriott marquis and convention center, said Irfan Razak, chairman and MD of Prestige group.
