Gensol to develop NHPC’s Green Hydrogen Mobility Station project in Ladakh

Gensol Engineering Ltd has secured the lowest bid for developing NHPC’s Kargil Green Hydrogen Mobility Station EPC project in Ladakh. They secured the project in collaboration with Matrix Gas and Renewables Ltd by demonstrating techno-commercial competency.

The scope of work involves the development of a 500 kW grid-connected, ground-mounted solar power project providing energy to the Hydrogen refuelling station, along with the entire balance of plant EPC encompassing the green hydrogen system installation, storage, dispensing facilities and the requisite civil and electrical infrastructure.

NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd) will commission this project and it is anticipated to be completed within 12 months of the issue of the work order. 

The project is expected to boost Gensol’s market position, elevate its technical capabilities, and pave the way for growth and collaboration in the renewable energy sector, said Ali Imran Naqvi, CEO-BD & Project Management of Gensol Engineering Ltd.
