Gautam Adani, the founder and chairman of the Adani Group, announced on Thursday, December 07, that the company is developing the world’s largest green energy park in the Rann of Kutch desert, Gujarat. The upcoming project is being developed over approximately 726 sq km of land parcel and is anticipated to generate 30 GW of power over 20 million homes.
Furthermore, the company is also developing one of the world’s most extensive and integrated renewable energy manufacturing ecosystems for solar and wind (nearly 150 km from Adani’s Karmabhoomi Mumdra).

These projects are envisaged to add to India’s green energy capacity and fulfill the climate action pledges made at the COP26 summit in 2021.
