Ambuja Cements, during its exchange filing, on Monday, December 18, announced an estimated investment of INR 6,000 Crore in renewable power projects. The Adani Group subsidiary aims to complete these projects by the end of FY26.
The company aims to generate a target capacity of approximately 1000 MW (Megawatts) through solar and wind power projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan. These projects include – a 600 MW solar power, a 150 MW wind power project in Gujarat, and a 250 MW solar power project in Rajasthan.

These projects are envisioned to increase Ambuja Cement’s existing capacity to 84 MW and the total green capacity from 19% to 60%. Additionally, the company acquired a majority stake in Sanghi Industries for INR 5,185 Crore.
