Suzlon, a renewables solutions provider, has bagged a new 225MW wind energy order from Everrenew Energy. The company will execute the project on a full spectrum of supply, installation, and commissioning, followed by post-commissioning operation and maintenance services.
Suzlon will install 75 units of their S144-140m Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with an HLT (Hybrid Lattice Tubular) Tower and a rated capacity of 3MW each. The project will be developed at Everrenew Energy’s sites at Vengaimandalam in Trichy and Ottapidaram in Tuticorin of Tamil Nadu.

The energy generated through this project will provide electricity to 1.85 lakh households and reduce nearly 7.31 lakh tonnes of carbon emissions per year. It aims to cater to captive needs as well as the C&I (Commercial and Industrial) consumers in the state.
