Ambuja Cements, a leading cement manufacturer in India and part of the Adani Group, on Wednesday, February 21, announced the establishment of a cement grinding unit in Jharkhand with an estimated investment of INR 1000 Crore. The upcoming facility will be developed near Adani Power (Jharkhand) Ltd after the requisite approvals.
The proposed project will have a generating capacity of 4.0 MTPA (million Tonnes Per Annum) and will be set up in Motia Village of Godda district in Jharkhand. It will be developed as a comprehensive approach to disposing of fly ash in an environmentally friendly manner and contributing to the circular economy.

Ambuja Cements already operates two cement plants in Jharkhand with a combined capacity of 6 MTPA.
