JSW Infrastructure, a subsidiary of the JSW Group, announced receiving a Letter of Award (LoA) for the mechanization of cargo berth from the V O Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tamil Nadu. The project will be developed on a PPP basis (Public-Private Partnership).
The scope of work includes North Cargo Berth-III (NCB-III) mechanisation for handling dry bulk cargo at V.O. Chidambaranar Port on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) mode. The terms and conditions will be awarded following the draft concession agreement and the amendments submitted with the bid, whereas the concession agreement will be signed as per the terms of the request for proposal (RFP) within 30 days of the issue of the LoA.
