Delhi NCR-based Omaxe Group has recently launched a groundbreaking commercial project, ‘The Omaxe State’, in Dwarka, New Delhi. This project is India’s first integrated 5-in-1 facility, combining sports, retail, hospitality, food, and culture.
Sprawling an anticipated 50.4 Acres in Sector 19-B, this ambitious development involves an estimated investment of over 2,500 INR-Crore. The Omaxe State is a public-private partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). The project, set for completion in 2027, is expected to generate a revenue of 4,200 INR-Crore.
As of September 2024, tenders have been floated for the selection of civil works contractors.
Overview of The Omaxe State
The Omaxe State in Delhi is designed by 24 globally acclaimed consultants. This massive sport-centric project boasts 11 entrances, extensive parking facilities including 2,211 equivalent car spaces (ECS), as well as additional surface parking with room for expansion. It also offers a wide range of amenities and activities, enhancing Dwarka’s social and cultural landscape. Additionally, it features an invite-only club, a 75,000 SqFt esports arena, a five-screen multiplex, six terrace garden restaurants, and a café.
Sports District:
At the heart of The Omaxe State, Delhi is a modern cricket and football stadium built to ICC and FIFA standards. This grand arena will seat 30,000 spectators and serve as the epicenter for international cricket matches and football events. The Sports District will also feature a 2,000-capacity multi-sport indoor stadium for table tennis, basketball, squash, badminton, and more. Additionally, an Olympic-size swimming pool will enhance the facility. This state-of-the-art venue is designed to host a range of athletic events and foster a vibrant sports culture.

Shopping District:
This district takes retail to new heights with India’s first air-conditioned high street. With over 200 stores and large-format anchor showrooms ranging from 18 to 36 feet in height, it is the ultimate shopping destination. The Omaxe State aims to be a premier retail and leisure hub, with over 75% of its shops on the ground floor, air-conditioned corridors, and spaces ranging from 450-33,000SqFt.
The shopping district also features a hybrid high street mall with a total of 640 shops—440 on the ground floor and 200 on the first floor. A luxurious five-screen multiplex further adds entertainment to the vibrant retail experience.
Food District:
Spanning an anticipated 500,000 SqFt, the Food District offers a culinary experience like no other. Featuring over 40 restaurants, lounges, nightclubs, and bars, this vibrant space caters to every palate, from local flavors to international cuisines. The district also includes 3 drive-throughs, enhancing convenience for visitors.
Social District:
The Social District is a lively hub fostering community and culture. It will feature spaces for art exhibitions, cultural festivals, as well as social gatherings, hosting up to 100,000 people. Moreover, a dedicated social arena will accommodate up to 10,000 guests, making it the perfect location for celebrating national events and community functions. This area will also include kiosks, fountains, and giant screens, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

Hospitality District:
The Hospitality District will offer an exclusive retreat with a prestigious private club and a five-star hotel featuring 148 luxury rooms. Club membership will be by invitation only, ensuring utmost privacy and exclusivity. The district will also include party lawns with a capacity for 2,000 guests, two banquet halls accommodating 1,500 people each, and three state-of-the-art gymnasiums. This luxurious setup offers a serene and elite experience for both residents and visitors.
