Nitin Gadkari announces projects worth 2,200 INR-Crore in Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra and Goa

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced the approval of multiple infrastructure projects. These projects span across Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Goa. The strategic investments aim to further boost connectivity, promote regional development, and reduce traffic bottlenecks. 

In Maharashtra, an estimated 809.77 INR-Crore has been allocated for upgrading the two-lane stretch with paved shoulders on NH 63. This section runs from Udgir to Degalur and Adampur Fata to Sagroli Fata. It connects Latur and Nanded with Telangana’s Nizamabad.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh secured 400 INR-Crore to develop 13 state roads covering approximately 200.06 Km under the CRIF scheme. Additionally, around 98 INR-Crore has been approved for constructing a four-lane Sankar Vilas Road Over Bridge on the Guntur-Nallapadu railway line. 

Furthermore, in Telangana, Nitin Gadkari sanctioned an estimated 516 INR-Crore for a 14 Km four-lane bypass around Nalgonda Town on NH 565. This road connects Nakrekal to Nagarjuna Sagar. Meanwhile, Goa received around 557 INR-Crore for the four-laning of a 9.6 Km stretch between Ponda and Bhoma on NH 748. This segment will close the gap between the Khandepar-Ponda and Ribandar bypass stretches. 

The latest project approvals by Minister Nitin Gadkari mark a significant step toward enhancing infrastructure and improving regional connectivity.
