Wabag secures 1,000 INR-Crore order for desalination plant in Andhra Pradesh

VA TECH WABAG (WABAG), a leading water technology company, has bagged an order to set up a desalination plant in Andhra Pradesh. The company received the order from Indosol Solar Pvt Ltd worth an estimated 1,000 INR-Crore.

WABAG will oversee the entire scope of the desalination plant, covering engineering, procurement, and supply. It will also manage the installation, testing, and commissioning for the 100 Million Liters per Day (MLD) facility. Additionally, the project is scheduled for completion within 38 months.

The advanced desalination plant by WABAG will feature cutting-edge technologies to ensure energy-efficient performance. Consequently, it will contribute to both water security and sustainable manufacturing. Post completion, the company will also oversee a 15-year operation and maintenance contract.
