Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, unveiled projects worth an estimated 3 Lakh INR-Crore for Kerala at the Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS).
The announced projects include:
10,000 INR-Crore for the Palakkad–Malappuram bypass,
5,000 INR-Crore for the Thiruvananthapuram Outer Ring Road, and
6,000 INR-Crore for the Angamaly bypass.
With these investments, the Invest Kerala Global Summit marked a significant milestone in boosting road infrastructure and connectivity across the state.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan shared Kerala’s ambitious goals. The state plans to establish 15,000 startups and generate one lakh jobs by 2026. He emphasized that the government will act as a facilitator by enhancing infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted power, and expanding internet access. These initiatives reinforced the importance of the Invest Kerala Global Summit in shaping Kerala’s economic future.

In addition, Adani Ports Managing Director Karan Adani pledged around 30,000 INR-Crore for Kerala over the next five years. This investment will focus on expanding the Vizhinjam port, upgrading Thiruvananthapuram Airport, and developing a cutting-edge logistics hub. With such strategic investments, the Invest Kerala Global Summit has set the stage for unprecedented growth and innovation in the state.
