Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang laid the foundation stone for a healthcare center, a guest house, and a renovated bus terminus at the SNT complex in Siliguri. The project will cover an anticipated 2.1 Acres and introduce multiple facilities under one roof.
The government has allocated an estimated 197 INR-Crore for this ambitious initiative. Additionally, officials will centralize various Sikkim government offices at the SNT complex, making operations more efficient. The upcoming healthcare center will include 50 rooms with kitchen facilities, ensuring patient comfort. Moreover, skilled doctors and nurses will provide medical care supported by modern clinical facilities.

To enhance convenience, the SNT complex will feature automatic bus parking, a dedicated taxi zone, and a shopping complex for visitors. Authorities have set a 24-month deadline to complete construction, ensuring swift progress. With this transformation, the SNT complex will become a vital hub, offering better services for both residents and travelers.
