HCC-TPL JV wins 2,191 INR-Crore contract for Indore Metro

Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) and Tata Projects Limited (TPL) have secured an estimated 2,191 INR-Crore contract to develop an 8.65 Km corridor including underground tunnels and stations for Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL).  

The Package IN-05R marks the first and only underground stretch of the 31.32 Km Indore Metro Phase 1 project. The package includes the construction of an 11.32 Km tunnel, constructed using tunnel boring machines (TBM), along with seven underground stations at Indore Railway Station, Rajwada, Chota Ganpati, Bada Ganpati, Ramchandra Nagar, BSF/Kalani Nagar, and Airport. This section will connect a ramp east of Indore Railway Station to a ramp west of Airport Station, ensuring seamless transit.

HCC is currently working on Mumbai Metro Line III, constructing 4 Km of twin tunnels and four stations. Additionally, it is executing two Chennai Metro packages.
