Allcargo Logistics Ltd is setting up multi-modal logistics and industrial parks across India in order to tap into opportunities from the consolidation of cargo distribution under the Goods and Services Tax regime.

The logistics parks will be developed at Jhajjar in Haryana on an 180-acre land with a built-up area of 4 million square feet; 2.5 million square feet in Bengaluru, 0.5 million square feet in Hyderabad, and Delhi on a total area of 185 acres with a built-up area of 4 million sq.ft.

The multimodal logistics park in Jhajjar which is being developed at present, is seeing a phase-wise implementation and will be India’s largest logistic park, housing a rail-linked private freight terminal catering to railway cargo movement, a free trade warehousing zone, and other related activities.

Allcargo logistics aims to invest Rs 1,000 crore over the next 3-5 years towards logistics parks.
