Andhra Pradesh CM, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Tuesday, November 28, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several power projects across the state worth 6,600 INR Crores. These projects aim to enhance the power supply in 14 districts.
The CM laid the foundation stone for:
- Two Solar Power Projects accounting for an estimated 3,400 INR Crores at Kadapa and Anantapur.
- 16 Power sub-stations with a total estimated investment of 2,479 INR Crore.
- The expansion of the Electronic Vehicle Manufacturing Unit of Avera, worth an estimated investment of 100 INR Crores.
- And inaugurated 12 Power sub-stations worth approximately 620 INR-Crores.

Apart from these, the CM also announced that Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Ltd (APSPCL) has signed an agreement with HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd) for several power projects. The companies will invest a projected amount of 10,000 INR Crores in these projects. These include setting up:
- 500 MW Solar Power Plant
- 500 MW Wind Energy Facility & Green Hydrogen Plant
- 100 MW Battery Energy Storage System
