At DU, PM Modi lays foundation stone for three new buildings

On Friday, 30 June 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for three new buildings at Delhi University in the varsity’s North Campus. These buildings include the faculty of technology, a computer center, and an academic block. 

The completion of these buildings is anticipated at different junctures in 2024. The faculty of technology, which will have a ground floor and seven floors, is expected to be completed by November 2024 with a project cost of INR 195.65 Crore

Similarly, the academic block in Maurice Nagar, costing INR 329.3 Crore, is scheduled for completion by November 2024. Additionally, the computer center, with an estimated cost of INR 87.29 Crores, is projected to be ready by May 2024.
