Aurigene to set up INR 330 Crore biomanufacturing facility in Telangana

Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Ltd has announced its plans to establish a cutting-edge biomanufacturing facility in Hyderabad, investing USD 40 million (approximately INR 330 Crores). The facility is expected to create employment opportunities for over 250 individuals. 

KT Rama Rao, the Minister for IT and Industries in Telangana highlighted in a tweet that Hyderabad offers a conducive ecosystem for biologics Research and Development, accounting for 30-40 percent of India’s total biologics capacity. The company has ambitious expansion goals for the facility and aims to explore novel therapies, particularly in the field of cell and gene therapies.
