Bihar Cabinet sanctions 197 INR-Crore for infrastructure projects in 3 districts

The Bihar state cabinet has approved three major infrastructure projects worth an estimated 197.52 INR-Crore. These include a road over bridge (ROB) in Patna district, two roads in Chhapra, and the strengthening of National Highway (NH)-80 in Lakhisarai district.  

The cabinet sanctioned around 109.21 INR-Crore for constructing the ROB between Dumri Halt and Pothahi railway stations in Patna. It also allocated around 43.40 INR-Crore for two roads in Chhapra. Additionally, an estimated 44.91 INR-Crore has been approved for enhancing NH-80 between Rampur and Shringi Rishi Dham through key locations like Sitarampur, Singarpur, and Mohanpur.

Furthermore, the cabinet approved an estimated 107.12 INR-Crore for two minority residential schools in Patna and West Champaran districts. A 560-seat school in Masaurhi block, Patna, will cost around 56.65 INR-Crore, while a similar facility in Chanpatia block, West Champaran, will require 50.47 INR-Crore.
