CIDCO announced the construction of roads in 23 villages in Panvel and Uran Talukas. The organization will invest approximately 12,000 INR-Crore in the development of these Modern-design roads.
The tender for the construction will be issued in the upcoming month. The roads will be designed in a straight line, free from intersections and signals. The project involves the construction of flyovers and underpasses wherever necessary and the removal of all encroachments along the roads while ensuring no signal systems or roundabouts are present during the construction process.

With this project, CIDCO aims to facilitate rapid development of the villages that fall under NAINA (Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area). It is also envisioned to help the region become the third Mumbai.
