Coca-Cola, a leading global soft drink giant, on Thursday, November 30, announced an investment of 1387 INR crore for a new manufacturing facility in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The ground-breaking ceremony for the facility was held on Friday, December 01, and attended by the state CM, Eknath Shinde.
The greenfield project will be developed over 88 acres of land parcel at the Lote Parshuram Industrial Area in Khed. It is scheduled to be operational by 2025. The facility is anticipated to generate 350 direct and indirect job opportunities.

This upcoming manufacturing facility is projected to be a “major leap” in the company’s manufacturing capabilities. The company currently has 16 factories manufacturing 60 products across 22 states.
