Mumbai Metro Line 7A (Andheri – CSIA)
The Mumbai Metro Line 7A (Andheri – CSIA) is currently under construction. An extension of the Mumbai Metro Line 7 (Andheri East to Dahisar East), the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is developing this project. The proposed line is 3.175 Km long and will have two metro stations. These are the elevated Andheri East metro station and the underground Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) metro station. The total project construction cost is INR 1,000 crores and the project completion date is 2023. J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited started the piling work inside the AAI colony for the ramp, tunnelling 2.9 km to CSIA, as of April 2022.
