Erisha E-Mobility & Uttarakhand Govt Ink INR 1900 Crore MoU

Uttarakhand Government has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Erisha E Mobility Pvt Ltd (a leading firm in the electric mobility sector) for developing an EV Park and deploying 100 state-of-the-art EV charging hubs across the state. The proposed park aims to become a hub for innovation, research, and development in the electric mobility field and aligns with the government’s mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.

The Electronic Vehicle Park will be developed over approximately 320 Acres of land parcel with an estimated cost of INR 1,500 Crore. It will provide a platform for Electric Vehicles manufacturing, ancillary units set up, technology providers, and researchers to collaborate- fostering the development of Uttarakhand’s EV ecosystem.

Additionally, the project involves the installation of 100 EV charging hubs with an estimated investment of INR 400 Crore. These will be located strategically across the state ensuring convenient access to charging facilities, reducing the carbon footprint, and facilitating the adoption of EVs in Uttarakhand. The project is anticipated to generate 5000 direct and indirect job opportunities.
