Overview of the Project:
The Airports Authority of India is constructing a new Civil Enclave in Darbhanga, Bihar, to meet the increasing demands of domestic passengers. The project covers 52.65 Acres of land, with an estimated construction cost of INR 631 Crore.
The project involves constructing a terminal building with a basement, ground floor, and 2 upper floors. It will not only serve Darbhanga city but also embody its Maithili culture. The interiors of the building will reflect the essence of the cultural capital of Bihar.
Suresh Goel And Associates is serving as the Design Architect while Beniwal Associates Private Limited is the Structural Engineering Consultant for this project. Design Centre Consulting Engineers Private Limited will oversee the MEP works of the project.

Other facilities:
The construction of the new integrated terminal building will take place along with four new aprons on the air side and associated facilities on the land side such as a new approach road from the highway, an elevated bridge with up and down ramps, at-grade road network inside the campus of the upcoming terminal building, landscaping, and utility blocks.
