IDCO (Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation) has undertaken the expansion of the Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) in Bhubaneswar. The authority has floated a tender for the state-of-the-art, futuristic facility on a lump sum turnkey model sprawling across 111 Acres of land parcel at Kalinga Nagar.
The project covers approximately 1,716,199 SqFt of land with an estimated construction cost of INR 920 Crore. The scope of work involves the construction of girls’ and boys’ hostels, an administration block, lecture halls, and basement parking, among other public amenities. The facility is expected to be operational within 27 months of commencement.
Prakriti Architects serves as the design architect as well as the structural engineering consultant for this project. As of January 2024, IDCO has extended the bid submission date to January 10, 2024.
