Gadkari announces 2,100 INR-Crore Southern Bypass Project for Bareilly

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has approved a transformative 30 Km long southern bypass in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. This will alleviate traffic congestion and boost commuting efficiency in the city.

The southern bypass project will cost an estimated 2,100 INR-Crore and will begin near Jhumka Chauraha in Dhantia village on National Highway (NH)-530. It will conclude near Invertis University, featuring a Trumpet interchange on NH-30. With a modern four-lane divided carriageway and six-lane structures, this bypass will seamlessly connect NH-24 (Moradabad-Bareilly) with NH-530B (Budaun-Bareilly).

Furthermore, the construction will include grade separators, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow. The southern bypass promises to reduce congestion dramatically while enhancing road safety.
