Gadkari lays foundation stone for two NH projects in Assam

On June 5, 2023, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation for two national highway (NH) projects in Assam and inaugurated two NH projects in the northeastern state. The combined cost of all four projects amounts to approximately INR 1,450 Crore.

During the virtual ceremony, Gadkari initiated the construction of the 4-lane Mangaldai Bypass (15 km) on NH 15, with a project cost of INR 535 crores. Additionally, he commenced the construction of a 13 km four-lane Daboka-Parakhuwa stretch on NH 29, valued at INR 517 crore.

Furthermore, the 10-km Nagaon Bypass to Teliagaon 4-lane section of NH 127, constructed at a cost of INR 247 crore, and the 8-km Teliagaon-Rangagara 4-lane section on the same NH 127, built for INR 156 crore, were dedicated to the nation by the minister.
