BJP MLA from Dabhoi, Shailesh Mehta, recently led the ground-breaking ceremony for Phase 1 of the high-speed corridor connecting Vadodara to the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Narmada district. The estimated cost of the project is 381.86 INR-Crore.
The project will feature four bridges and a six-lane road stretching from Vadodara’s outskirts, under the Vadodara Urban Development Authority (VUDA), to Ekta Nagar via Dabhoi. To streamline traffic flow, authorities will construct two six-lane underpasses at Ratanpur and Tuwavi. Additionally, four-lane elevated corridors will rise at Kelanpur and Sinor junction, ensuring a seamless journey.

With these developments, the high-speed corridor aims to significantly cut travel time and make access to Ekta Nagar faster and more efficient.
