The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) announced the signing of a new hotel under the brand ‘Taj’ in Kollam, Kerala. The hotel will feature 205 keys, each with scenic views of the Arabian Sea.
The upcoming Taj Hotel, Kollam, will cover an anticipated 13 Acres of land along Thirumullavaram beach and will boast nearly 600 Ft of pristine beachfront. Further, it will comprise premium amenities such as an all-day diner, a speciality vegetarian restaurant, a chic bar, a rejuvenating spa, a swimming pool, and a fully-equipped gym among others. The hotel will also include 20,000 SqFt of banquet space and expansive lawns, catering to corporate gatherings as well as social events.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, said that this project is poised to further strengthen IHCL’s longstanding presence in Kerala. This will be the 20th addition to the company’s existing hotels across the Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands in Kerala including six under development.
