HPPC gives nod to contracts and purchases over 2,050 INR-Crore in Haryana

The High-Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) recently approved contracts and items valued at an estimated 2,050 INR-Crore in Haryana. This includes an allocation of around 729 INR-Crore for water supply and sewerage management upgrades.

Among the developmental works, HPPC greenlit

  • 15 INR-Crore canal-based water supply scheme for seven villages in Rewari district
  • Construction of four Ranney wells at 97 INR-Crore in Chandhat and Janacholi villages.

Further, the committee sanctioned 11 projects under the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). It includes an estimated 16.40 INR-Crore contract for a centralized integrated water management system (CIWMS). 

Additionally, approvals were received for the reconstruction, strengthening, and repair of six road projects across 174 Km. The estimated cost is 170 INR-Crore

Key road projects include:

  • Rebuilding of the route from Dwarka Expressway to IMT Manesar
  • Improvements from Mehrauli Road at the Delhi-Haryana border to IFFCO Chowk.
  • Service roads will be constructed between Sector 58 and 67 in Gurugram.

Furthermore, HPPC approved the development of a bus depot for e-buses in Sector 48, Gurugram, costing around 17.34 INR-Crore. 

New bus queue shelters will be built along

  • Dwarka Expressway in Sectors 99-115 for 17.35 INR-Crore. 
  • GMDA area from Southern Peripheral Road to Northern Peripheral Road, Sectors 68-95, at an estimated 19.73 INR-Crore. 
  • Moreover, new Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) will be constructed in Gurugram to enhance pedestrian safety.

Lastly, HPPC approved the installation of 66 workstations with 128 GB RAM and 44 with 256 GB RAM at the Haryana Space Applications Centre (HARSAC), CCSHAU Campus, Hisar. These approvals for infrastructure projects in Haryana underscore the state’s commitment to modernizing public resources, supporting sustainable growth, and improving the quality of life for its residents.
