IHCL announces fifth hotel in Indore, with signing of Vivanta property

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Branded as ‘Vivanta,’ this brownfield project will encompass 180 keys and occupy 2.3 acres of land. 

Strategically positioned within close proximity to the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport and the central business district, Vivanta Indore promises convenience. The hotel will boast an all-day diner, a rooftop restaurant, and a bar, along with recreational amenities such as a swimming pool and a fitness center. Additionally, it will offer a spacious banqueting space spanning over 10,000 SqFt that will cater to both social and corporate events.

Speaking at the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice PresidentReal Estate & Development at IHCL, highlighted that this signing aligns with IHCL’s vision to expand its presence in key commercial cities. Indore, the financial hub of Madhya Pradesh, is strategically positioned near major industrial hubs and pilgrimage sites. With this venture, the company aims to explore new micro-markets within the city. IHCL is pleased to collaborate with Amaltas Palace Private Limited for this hotel project.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will boast a total of 12 hotels in Madhya Pradesh, including 4 properties currently under development.
