India’s first AI Data Center Park breaks ground in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai laid the foundation stone for India’s first AI data center park in Sector-22, Nava Raipur. Spanning an anticipated 5.5 Hectares of land parcel, this ambitious development by RackBank Datacenters Pvt Ltd promises to redefine the region’s technological landscape. 

The AI data center park will feature a 2.7 Hectare Special Economic Zone and GPU-based high-end computing infrastructure. The project kicks off with a 5 MW (megawatt) capacity in its first phase, with scalability up to 150 MW. An estimated 2,000 INR-Crore investment will fuel this ambitious venture, positioning it as a cornerstone of India’s digital infrastructure. The project is set to create around 500 direct and 1,500 indirect jobs, prioritizing local employment.

The AI data center park will house all advanced systems under one roof. It will integrate GPU computing, AI workflows, data processing, and broadcast-level streaming. As a result, it will become a benchmark in India’s digital infrastructure.
