IRB Infra gets NHAI’s nod for Samakhiyali-Santalpur highway project in Gujarat

IRB Infrastructure, a construction engineering firm, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of an upgraded 6-lane highway in Gujarat connecting Samakhiyali and Santalpur.

The project would cost about INR 2,132 crore and have a length of 90.90 km, according to a filing by the business. The highway will be upgraded using a build-operate-transfer (BOT) method.

The project’s concession period would be 20 years beginning on the specified date and would include two years of construction.

With the latest order, the company’s order book stands revised to approximately INR 20,892 crore. This includes a construction order book of INR 9,714 crore.
