The Public Works Department, Govt. of Maharashtra has decided to carry out the construction of a Multi–Storey super specialty Hospital Building at Sir J.J. Hospital Campus Byculla, Mumbai.
Estimated at a cost of Rs. 298 crores, the project would be carried out on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis. It envisages the development of 2 basements and 10 upper floors which would consist of OPD Clusters, ICU Complex, and VIP In Patient Rooms.
The J J Hospital Campus is located in Byculla Mumbai, Maharashtra is spread over an area of about 44 Acres having the existing J J Hospital and the Grant Medical College campus.
The campus is having various buildings of hospital, hostel and residence quarters for doctors and other staff. The proposed site is in the campus of JJ Hospital as an open plot is available behind the main OPD Building.
